Pharmaceutical misuse: issues and perspectives

Wednesday 25 February, 2009

Free interactive seminar and forum held from 10.00am to 12.30pm on Wednesday, 25 February 2009 at Angliss Conference Centre, William Angliss Institute of TAFE, Level 5, 555 La Trobe Street, Melbourne.

Most people would identify "drug problems" with illicit drugs, such as cannabis, heroin, methamphetamine and ecstasy, maybe even alcohol. Few people would think about the misuse of pharmaceutical drugs. However, there are a number of prescribed or over-the-counter medicines that have the potential to be misused.
